Tom Yum Menu @ PizzaHut

R and I are self-acclaimed food junkies, more so when it comes to trying out new additions on the fastfood menus. Tom Yum's PizzaHut's latest hot off the oven releases, vouchers came in the mail, handed out on the streets...nearly flooding every nook and cranny of the island.

Armed with vouchers, we made PizzaHut at Siglap our dinner hangout one evening. Thinking that their al fresco dining layout was perfect for unwinding after work, how wrong, and very wrong indeed. The birds started chirping, cheeping...creating a cacophony more than a melodious symphony which lasted the whole meal.

Service was prompt, given the handful of diners.

Tom Yum Pizza on thin crust, regular ($10)

The crust was biscuit thin, crunchy even but the "tom yum" taste was evidently missing despite the sprinkling of herbs on top the pizza. The mere thought of tom yum brings about flavours that tickles the tastebuds but the pizza tasted uncannily similar to their signature curry chicken pizza with herbs. No tom yum hint at all, boring take on Tom Yum.

Hut Platter
of their famous drumlets, criss-cross potato fries, fish filets and calamari with mayonnaise and salsa dips ($8)

All fried..and tasted better than the pizza.

The thai menu's a disappointment that will not make it to the main menu for sure.

While it lasts! All prices are based on coupon cut-outs.
